Hidden Gem Alert 🚨 So a friend of ours introduced us to @harborlightsresortfrankfort a few weekends ago. I have to tell you this place is perfect if you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay up north. We booked through @hotelsdotcom for less than $100 a night. We went the budget route this weekend and just booked a 2 queen room, however one family had a suite with a king bed and 2 double beds with a full kitchen and the other family had a king suite/condo with pull out couch and huge soaker tub, fireplace etc. lots of affordable options depending on the size of your family and budget. Frankfort is only 20 minutes from @crystalmountainmi so it worked out perfect for our ski weekend. Frankfort has an adorable downtown with an awesome brewery @stormcloudbrew. We had the BEST pizza 🍕 from storm cloud. I highly recommend the “rider on the storm” “okey dokey artichokey” and the “stormavore”. They were all awesome!!! Those 3 were enough to feed about 5-6 adults. While this was perfect for our ski weekend it would be amazing in the summer. You are right on Lake Michigan. There are tons of trails nearby for walking or riding. 🚲 Overall, a great family friendly spot! Super quaint and @puremichigan at its finest.
